When traveling abroad we have noticed the wide range of foodstuffs offered as souvenirs to foreign visitors. Save for beer, no such souvenir foodstuffs are offered in the Czech Republic. Having relied on our 15 years of experience in this line of business we are sure that the Czech producers have a lot to offer - let us introduce to you a private range of products designated KINGS OF BOHEMIA.

The KINGS OF BOHEMIA brand name can be found on gift packages containing products typical of Bohemia and Moravia and associated with their historical traditions, such as Pardubice ginger bread; Hořice rolls; plum brandy; what is known as "ice" wine; gift boxes wherein tea is sold together with a set of china made in Karlovy Vary; a selection of beers by Czech breweries (see the photogallery).

Since we are not interested only in the commercial aspects of the idea, but we would be happy to make our visitors from abroad better aware of our Country and its traditions, each product is accompanied by a story of its origin, its development in the course of time, benefits, brand name related information, and similar facts available in 5 languages (see the narratives at the photogallery).

The products become eligible for this private range of goods irrespective of their prices, solely in consideration of the quality and tradition of recipes followed to manufacture them.
The manufacturers are, naturally, only Czech firms (which is certainly not the case with the other types of souvenirs), and the same is true also of the companies making all packing materials, the promotional agencies, and the other involved parties.
Currently, about 30 companies cooperate to make the products complete; it was one of our objectives - we intended to lend a helping hand to Czech producers, particularly the minor ones.

An unchallengeable advantage of the souvenir foodstuffs rests in their limited lifetime - unlike all those decorations brought from each and every trip and mostly difficult to find a place for, the foodstuffs are eaten or drunk almost immediately and a new supply may be eagerly awaited...
In fact, the idea behind the project has popped up thanks to personal experience of services rendered by some hotels abroad.

This private range of products has been earmarked primarily for hotel reception desks, restaurants, souvenir shops, info-centers, etc.
Moreover, we are ready to provide customized marketing support; to install a company sign; or to provide a similar kind of aid.

Traveling is pleasant on many accounts and the experience of local food and specialties is unquestionably one of the most enjoyable.
A country dwelling self-complacently on the past only and not trying to build its own distinctive presence will become a copy of others, deprived of any prospect of the future.
